Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Trash collection for townhomes and single-family homes occurs on Monday and Thursday by Refuse Removal Results (RRR)
Recycling is collected on Wednesday by Montgomery County.
- Trash must be placed curbside no later than 7:00 AM on collection day in order to be picked up.
- Collectable Refuse is defined as all refuse generated from normal household operations, including animal, fruit, or vegetable waste that has been drained and bagged to prevent leaking. Materials must be bagged and stored in closed trash receptacles. Tires, paint, and any item containing fuel, oil, antifreeze, and/or animal carcasses will not be collected.
- Trash will not be collected on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. In the event that the collection day falls on one of these holidays, the collection will occur on the following day.
- In the event of extreme inclement weather, it may be necessary to postpone trash collection for the safety of the collection staff and the residents of Norbeck Crossing Community. Every effort will be made to alert residents should a weather delay be necessary.
You can order blue recycling bins on the Montgomery County Solid Waste Services Store web site.
