Norbeck Crossing Homeowners Association
SNOW REMOVAL INFORMATION
When snow and ice is forecasted, everyone’s cooperation is needed to ensure that the snow removal can be done as quickly and efficiently as possible. If a significant amount of snow or ice falls, it may take several days to completely clear the parking lots, drive lanes and sidewalks, so we ask for your patience and cooperation.
- Norbeck Crossing HOA is responsible for plowing all townhome streets and alleys and the Condominium parking lots. Parking spaces are not plowed by the Association except for handicap spaces.
- Montgomery County is responsible for plowing all County roadways, including Coolidge Avenue, Doc Berlin Drive and Clara Downey Avenue. Note: all major County roads and primary routes are prioritized first, followed by neighborhood streets. This may affect the timeliness of the HOA snow removal contractors.
- Single family and townhome owners are responsible for shoveling the sidewalks that are in front of or next to their homes, including the lead sidewalk and main sidewalks that run parallel to the roadway. Additionally, owners are responsible for clearing the driveways and driveway aprons. Note, this is a County law and not an HOA rule.
- Condominium sidewalks are cleared by Norbeck Crossing HOA, except for a portion of the lead walkway into each building.
- Norbeck Crossing HOA is responsible for shoveling common area sidewalks in the townhome and single family sections that run parallel to a roadway but are not in front of or next to a home.
